The “Grand Prix” glider world championship takes place from August 24 to 30, 2025 from the Saint Auban airfield, north of Fayence. The world’s top 20 pilots will battle it out with their gliders in the skies over the Alpes de Hautes-Provence. At the end, a new world champion will be chosen.

The Grand Prix formula is very exciting in that the first to finish (by following a few simple rules) is the winner. The races are therefore very easy to follow.
