How far in advance should I book my flight?
We recommend booking 1 week in advance during vacation periods and 2-3 days in advance the rest of the year. However, places may become available at the last minute… So don’t hesitate to contact the secretary’s office.
When do the flights take place?
Flights are available all year round, any day of the week.
The first flights generally take off from midday and continue throughout the afternoon.
Do flights depend on the weather?
Yes, because we want you to fly in the best conditions of pleasure and safety. We ask all participants to contact the secretary’s office by 10am on the day of the flight to confirm or reschedule the flight.
In the event of cancellation, rescheduling is of course free of charge.
Are there weight and height limits?
As a glider is rather cramped and has to be perfectly balanced, there are constraints on the weight and height of the passenger:
- Minimum weight: 55kg
- Maximum weight: 100kg
- Minimum height: 1m55
- Maximum height: 1m90
Do I have to be in good health?
Although the flight of discovery is a very pleasant experience, it is of course necessary to be in good general health. However, a medical examination is NOT necessary. Please contact the secretary’s office for further details.
What should I wear?
Appropriate clothing is a must:
- Closed-toe shoes (sneakers)
- No flip-flops
- No heels
- Pants or Bermuda shorts (no dresses or skirts)
- Shoulders covered for sun and parachute (ideally a T-Shirt)
- Outside the summer months, bring a fleece jacket as it is colder at higher altitudes.
- Hat (bob or cap)
- Sunglasses
Can I take items on board?
In principle yes (at pilot’s discretion)
- Hand-held smartphone
- Camera with hand strap
- NO metal flasks
